Our visual coverage of the ICE crackdown and aftermath in Minneapolis

MinnPost visual journalist Ellen Schmidt has been covering the impact of ICE’s immigration enforcement in the Twin Cities since joining the newsroom last July. During that time she’s covered both federal agents and protesters, and was on the scene Jan. 7, after an ICE officer shot and killed 37-year-old mother and neighbor Renee Good. Later that day, Schmidt covered another immigration action and protest at Roosevelt High School, and a vigil held that night.
